A priceless collection of candy and sweet jars from 1911 from John Hofmann, the father of Art and Eleanor. And a postcard showing the front of the store with family members.
These shoes are from Larry Lange, Beverly’s brother-in-law who married her sister Elaine. Elaine and Larry are both buried on the museum property.
Display shelves
Kym designed these shelves for the museum’s YouTube channel. She teaches how to use inherited items in interesting ways.
Children's Home & Vintage Typewriter
Kym was a director of the Cleveland Christian Home for Children, founded in 1900. Photos include the original home and the rebuilt Home in 1924.
Vintage typewriter from Kym’s collection.
Mid-Century Modern Fireplace
Art was a fan of mid-century modern design and built this home around that style. Beverly was victorian and Kym prefers rustic, so the museum is quite eclectic.
